Now Forming: Mindful Living Group

Picture
Led by licensed clinical psychologist Clairalice Campini, Ph.D.

Mindfulness is a research-based “best practice” involving the use of timeless meditative practices that focus attention on the here-and-now, with an open-minded, non-judgmental, compassionate attitude. Mindfulness can promote well-being, calmness, and reflectiveness and allow us to connect with ourselves and others in more creative, accepting and meaningful ways. Improving these abilities can be very helpful to people struggling with anxiety, depression, anger, chronic pain and other difficulties.

This five-week workshop introduces participants to the multiple practical applications of mindfulness. Informal and formal practices will be explored, including mindfulness of the breath and of the body, mindfulness of thoughts and feelings, mindfulness of the compassionate heart, and mindful walking and moving.

Mindful Living Group
Groups run for 5 consecutive Saturdays.
1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
