Now Forming: Parenting Book Groups
Led by licensed clinical psychologist Carla Leone, Ph.D.
Parenting classes can be too much teaching and not enough real-world application; parenting support groups can be too much complaining and not enough learning and changing.
Parenting book groups offer the best of both worlds: Read a chapter or two per week of an agreed-upon book (such as Seigel’s “Parenting From the Inside Out” or Faber & Mazlich’s “How to Talk so Kids Will Listen and Listen So Kids Will Talk.”) and come prepared to discuss the chapter’s main points and get help applying them successfully. Read and discuss a child psychologist’s favorite parenting books and get help applying relevant concepts to your particular children and situation.

New groups begin every few weeks – please call for next start date.
Fee: $15/group, not billable to insurance. Registration is required, space is limited.
